My GGG grandmother was Sarah LYNCHEY, she was sentenced to transportation at Castle Rushen on the Isle of Man. Sentenced with her was a son Thomas.
Both arrived in Sydney New South Wales in 1835, but on separate vessels.
Sarah brought 2 daughters and a son with her. One Daughte, Mary Ann LYNCHEY married a convict George DUDLEY and was my GG graandmother.
I know little else.
Can onyone assist please?

Hi Peter

I am related to Sarah Lynchey (nee Mullan) - she was my Great, Great, Great Grandmother also!

Her son Andrew, the one that was too old to travel with her was my Great, Great Grandfather. He had a daughter called Agnes who married Martin Reynolds and they had a daughter called Catherine. She married Charles Brown and they had a son John who was my father.

I hope we can share much more information and look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards
Carol
