Sorry, I have no further details for Walter MAILLARD.
If anyone has the 1867 marriage certificate for Walter and Elizabeth they may be able to tell us the names of Walter's parents.
The name MAILLARD comes up in the family lines of Edward STUBBER and Frances OGRADY married in 1864. Edward and Frances had six children in Gippsland and I expect this will be the STUBBER family you mentioned.
