Marchbank

Looking for information on John Marchbank born circa 1913 in Scotland (Dumfries I think) and any relations siblings or descendants.I am his daughter born 1955 and i have recently found out that he had a family before me that we knew nothing about. I believe that he had a brother William and a sister Eleanor and that his middle name may have been McMorran......any help would be great as I don't really know where to start. Thanks
