Thankyou for your help am hoping that their mothers names are on the certificate I have there fathers names but have come to a dead end with their mothers. Thanks again Lynette
UK marriages only give fathers details, unlike the Australian ones which give you both parents most of the time.
The only other possibility of finding her parents details is on her death certificate but that would depend on the informant knowing the details and it's sometimes not accurate, but could give you a starting point.
Peter Burke not sure of birth date but it was in County Mayo Ireland he died in Coventry 4 June 1858 his father was Dominick Burke. Bridget Burke nee Bagley I think was born in County Mayo Ireland and died in Coventry fathers name was John Bagley. They had seven children and my G Grandfather James Burke and wife my G Grandmother Lucy Burke nee Dyke came to N.S.W Australia in the 1870s.
Thank you so much for taking the time to help me I have another Dominick who was born in 1844 County Mayo Peter's son so he may have called his own son Peter. I will go back into the family tree and have a look.

I don't think they have the mothers names on marriage certificates, the father's and fathers occupation: the mothers appear on birth certificates
