Martin Linnane, well known in Albury as " Martin the well sinker," was killed by a fall from his horse in September or October 1858. Would that be the Martin you seek?
Hi Janilye, my related Martin Linnane was buried in 1877 at Ballarat cemetery. Occupation was agricultural labourer but like all good Irishmen, kicked himself up and used Farmer on official documents. Will look into Thomas Bath for marriage details, cheers !!

Thank you, throws a different angle ,but was he born Clare Ireland OR Sth Australia ? I have visited the cemetery and in the area he is interred there are no headstones, presumably pauper's graves. His other daughter Bridget was illiterate but spelt her name Lennane on the marriage register, cheers !!
Year married: 1867. Place: Victoria. Ref: Registry of Marriages, Victoria. Reg. #2890.
Bridget's maiden name was also recorded as LENNANE and LANNON in the Victorian records. Several spelling variations for the name appear in the records and this makes record searches time consuming.
Located a marriage and death that may be of interest to you. I'm unable to confirm if this Mary is Bridget's sister but it's very possible going by the spelling variations of her maiden name appearing in the records.

DEATH.
Name: Mary JONES. Died: 1942 Canterbury district, New South Wales. Father: Martin. Mother: Ann. Ref: Registry of Deaths, New South Wales.
Thank you, Extremely unlikely the person in the death record is my relation because she was recorded on passenger lists in 1853 as being 20 years of age.Her place of birth is recorded as Kinvarra,Galway on the same list and there are several families of Linnanes( etc ) recorded in that town/parish. But I will follow up the marriage as she may have met Owen on the Ballarat goldfields, not an unrealistic distance from Anglesea. cheers !!
Sorry CHATHAM I missed Mary's birth year of 1833. If this Owen JONES and Mary had their last child in 1887 it means Mary would have been about 54 years old when she gave birth, so the chances are it's not the Mary your looking for.
