Mcauley of South Island New Zealand

I am Karina McAuley, grand daughter of William John McAuley (went by Bill McAuley) who was born July 26 1928 somewhere in the South Island, had 3 sisters, Janet, Doreen and Margaret. He married Amuri Margaret Duff but that is all I know....any info would be greatly appreciated!!!
