Mccloy John T and Eleanor Aka Nellie IN Colorado

John Thomas McCloy, born in Northern Ireland, came to Weld County Colorado from southern Illinois with some Covenentors in about 1873-74. He wrote to Nellie who remained in Illinois, telling her of his feelings for her and asked her to marry him and join him at the homestead he had built. She arived sometime in 1874-75, and they were married and had their first son, John, aka Jack, in 1876. Nine children were born there, my grandmother, Sarah Mabel being one.

I have the documents pertaining to the application for homestead (very interesting) and records of all the children and their descendants. I am always looking for other documentation on the family, and records of the vitals. I would love to chat with anyone with interest in this family.
