I am looking for ancestors and descendants of John McFarlane, b.21 Aug. 1842, Shoreditch, England; d. 30 Jul. 1896, Melbourne, Australia. He had arrived in Australia by 1869. His eldest child, Charles William, was born in Ballarat, Victoria, 21 Jan. 1869.
I am trying to establish verifiable links with John's relatives in Shoreditch and relatives of his partner, Emily Gwinnett, b. 3 Jan. 1840, Wolverhampton, England.
