MCGRUER, WAIRARAPA NZ AND WELLINGTON NZ

I am looking for information, links and connection to the McGruer family based at Wairarapa. There were two sisters in a family of 6 children known to have lived there in the 1930's-1950's. They were Catherine (Kitty) and Jessie McGruer. Daughters of Rob (born Gruer) and Christine McGruer. They had brothers named Don, Fraser, Norman and Robert. Catherine was my mother.
There are gaps in the family history between 1900 and 1952 that I am trying to learn about.
