Merricks of Stafford

Henry and Mary Merricks nee Voss of Stafford England.
His father was George Merricks a shoe maker for Bostock shoe factory, mother was Ann Halden.
I have got back to William Merricks born 1814 Tillington, Stafford, he may of been a Merrick, as the "s" has been added. His parents may be Thomas and Jane Merrick, this is where I hit the brick wall.
William married a Mary Johnson in 1834 Saint Chad, Stafford and had 12 children.
