Middlemiss

William Middlemiss married Marjory White (Whyte) 1801 at Duns, Scotland.
Their children: William, James, Isabella and a possible Joseph.
The family moved to Perthshire where the children married and in 1852 William (son) moved to Australia with his wife Isbella Dow and children, John D, William D, Marjory, Janet and Montague.
They settled in Maldon during the goldrush years.
I am descended from John D and Elizabeth Bassett and their son James Reginald Middlemiss and his son Blair Athol, my dad.
