Mississippi to Texas Paces

Lauderdale Co Mississippi is where my Grandfather Jefferson Davis Pace and wife Martha L Pruitt left to come with the Muckelroy wagon train to Texas. Jefferson's parents were Abner W. Pace and Elizabeth Clay. Abner's parents were Alsa Pace and Rhoda Jarvis. Alsa's parents were Edmund Marion Pace and Sarah Walker.My father was the youngest son of Jefferson Davis Pace/ Chester Delane Pace m Claudia Alpha Bentley. To that union 3 children were born Laura Marie Pace,Clyde Delane Pace and Billie Jean Pace.[me] The Muckelroy family, Pruitt Familiy and the Pace family's settled in the Villages of Melrose and Fairview. Later some migrated into a larger town by the name of Nacogdoches,Texas.Most were farmers and East Texas was a perfect place for farming.
