i have been researching my whakapapa/ family tree off , i am looking for Captain William Friday Lewis 3rd wife Te Hirata of Kihitu, Wairoa Hawkes bay, there many books , journals on Capt Williams aother wives and their familys. As for my Hirata i can not find a single paper trail or her life story. This is what i know William and Hirata lived in Kihitu, Hirata whangi William David Lewis age 3 , son of hubby and they had one son maybe more ??? Hirata is buried at Kihitu. this all i have found no dates. Can anyone help or research and come across info on this family
