Researching ancestors and descendants of Matthias Mogan and his wife Bridget Mcdonough There were from near carroe Galway Ireland. Matthias was the son of Bartholomew and Catherine (folan,Foley) Mogan. Bartholomew and Catherine had 5 sons Matthias,Bartly, Peter John and Bartholomew. Mathias and Bridget emigrated to Canada in the 1850's and then to the United States (Maine) in the 1860's They had 3 sons Patrick Thomas and John.
