Mohr Surname Y DNA Research

A review of available Y-DNA haplotype data for the surname MOHR shows a shortage of information for research. There are only 5 listings I know of.

If you know or are a direct male descendant with the MOHR surname then you are requested to consider obtaining a test kit from one of a number of available testing agencies. Then join the MOHR surname project at Family Tree DNA to share your data under the name of your most distant ancestor with that surname.

My particular interest is of descendants of Johann Hermann Mohr b.11/17/1720 in Mauchenheim Germany. A minimum of 37-markers is suggested to be useful. Usually it is cheaper to obtain the test after contacting the group administrator of a project group.
