Morgan D Arcy 1821 1902 Dublin
hi,
I would be very grateful for any info as to where Morgan D'Arcy was born and who his parents were.he was my ggfather and we have no official documentary evidence about his antecedants ( although we have looked for this in the usual state records )
we think he was born in Ballibough co dublin in 1821.
he married Sarah Keogh c1850
he had a sister Ann who married a Molloy in c1837.

hello morgand - Irish records are always difficult to find and sort out . The following may be worth a look at and see if it brings you any nearer to your goal -if not throw it in the rubbish can >>>
(a ) go to - familysearch.org
( b ) put in just the surname .> d'arcy - / country - ireland -
nothing else
( c ) click - it will bring up the ancestral index - go to Number 257
their other numbers also - 158 /221/ 279/ 282/363/ 368/391/ 548/585
( d ) at this point stick to No 257- click on pedigree and it goes right back to a " norman darcy " b -1031 who was born in lincolnshire - eng eventually coming forward " john " le neveu ' darcy- b-1280/85 - married an irish lass in Ireland
(e ) if you click on family as you go you will se all the children listed
Bit of work to do but if you have any other info to go with it / keep your notes as you go it may give you a lead in and crack it wide open . Ok good hunting - Regards edmondsallan
