Morton Family Name Possibly from Ripon

My name is Karon Wood, I am the daughter of Joyce Alma McHugh (maiden name Morton). I don't know my grandparent's names, but mum was one of 10 children, (some of the other children were: Winney, Ted, Charlie[Chaz], Joan, Peter, Bob-who went to Australia) my granddad was married twice and my mum was from his second wife. I am only just starting to try and build up a family tree and would like any help from anyone for this family tree please.
