PANTRY TEA
... Mrs Errol MUIR was the hostess at a 'pantry tea' held at her residence, Brunswick Street, Lower Hutt, in honour of Miss Edna LAMBERT, whose marriage to Mr Cedric MUIR will take place shortly. Mrs Muir received the guests wearing a frock of pastel georgette. The guest of honour wore a smartly cut frock of floral crystal crepe and was presented with a dainty posy of white begonias an maiden-hair fern

The rooms were gaily decorated with mauve and cream sweet sultans,
When tea had been served the bride-elect opened the parcels containing many useful gifts, ater which she thanked the guests, and particularly the hotess for a delighful party.

Competitions were won by Mrs M. TEWARD and Mrs Leslie MUIR
