KayeW on 2015-01-01 16:04:58I am a first cousin once removed to your grandfather Hiram Dale Calhoun. Our common ancestors are James Taylor Calhoun and wife Priscilla Peden. I have tons of Calhoun things.

My direct ancestors are some of yours I love finding new family members and realize how small this world really is. My 25th great grandfather is Umfridus DeKilpatrick, Robert your 19th great grandfather is my 21st great grandfather.. I too am from the John Colquhoun and Agnes Boyd direct line.. John is my 13th great grandfather.. Hugh Calhoun and Agnes Jane McCleary are my direct 7th great grandparents. I am from the line of there son Samuel Calhoun and Mary Clendennen who is my 6th great grandparents.. so what I am gathering is that my great grandfather *7 were also your great grandparents so that means that Samuel my great grandfather *6 was your great grand uncle and your grandfather was my great grand uncle so that would make you my cousin 6 times removed right?
