Hello Glenda---it is nice to meet you. My name is Mark and I am looking for information on children of Thomas Augusta Riggs. He came from Monroe, Mississippi, settled in northern Arkansas and then moved to Bell County, Texas area before drowning in the Medina River in Bandera County in 1867. Is this your family by chance? I have a LOT more information along this line. Let me know, Mark

Mrs Riggs, My name is Henry Gholson. I attended San Marcos Military Academy in 5th and 6th grades in 1977 and 1978, Mr Kenneth Munson was my Teacher for both years. Mr Munson was a great man and teacher. There were 20 kids in his class and he was very kind and attentive to all of us. We were all very fond of him. Aside from being a great teacher he was also a man who would often speak to us about the importance of moral character and faith in God. I remember that he would often read to us, which we all enjoyed greatly. He read us Ben Hur - which made a great impression on me and contributed greatly to my faith and understanding in God. He also Read us the book Mr Charlie and I rember we all greatly enjoyed the book. Once when I was sick with streepthroat in the school infermery - Mr Munson bought me a get well card and had all my classmates sign it and wish me well- this touched me deeply and I reatly appreciated it. I just wanted to let you know that I still remember Mr Munson and that I am fond of his memory and he influenced me greatly over the years. I still remember him reading to us and that ment alot to me as noone had ever done that for me before and I always learned a lot and enjoyed his readings. I hope Mr Munson is well and I wish you would tell him he was one of my favorite teachers. Thank you. Also, I would like to read a copy of Mr Munsons book "Mr Charlie" He did not read the whole book to us - as some of the books subject matter was more adult in subject- and now as an adult I would like to read it, might you know which library has the book in stock? Thankyou once again. Henry Gholson
