My Rebel Family

Friedrich Rebel of Rohrbach, Germany married Maria Magdalena Brenner of Joehlingen. They had four living daughters, three born in Germany and one in Boston after emigration. The daughters were Sophie, married Frederick Foster, Theresa (youngest child), married John Brown, Josephine, married Michael Guenthner, also of Joehlingen, and Emma, my grandmother, who married Frank Gaulrapp.

Friedrich had many siblings, and there are many, many Rebels in the U.S. today.
