N E Railways England and the Swallow Family

My grand father,and three brothers worked for the N E Railway,as Engine and loco drivers,and goods guards,around the 1890,s onwards There names were Alfred,Walter George william,I have looked for records of their employment but can,t find any mention at They all started as boys cleaning etc and obviously worked there way up.Any information would be appreciated Stan.
