Nancey TREASURE was born on 12th November 1806 and baptised 7th December 1806 at Stoke Lane by her parents Levi & Betty TREASURE.

In Jul 1827 she may have been charged with larceny by a servant and acquitted. (NB. Recorded as "Ann").

On the 18th March 1833 she married Stephen GRAY at St Mary's Church, Bathwick. Witnesses were Andrew MAGUIRE, Phebe WHITE & John WARD. (NB. Married as "Ann").

They had children - James bap 30 Jun 1833, John (1) 1839-1839, Elizabeth bap. 6 Sep 1840, John (2) 1843, Mary Ann 1845, Edwin (1) 1848-1848, Edwin (2) 1849.

In 1841 she is living at 17 BC Place, Lyncombe & Widcombe with husband Stephen (a Laborer) and children James and Elizabeth. (NB. Recorded as "Mary").

In 1851 she is a Laundress living at 3 Parfitt's Buildings, Lyncombe & Widcombe with husband Stephen (a Wine Merchant's Porter) and children Elizabeth, John, Mary Ann and Edwin.

In 1861 she is a Dressmaker living at Millbrook Place, Lyncombe & Widcombe with husband Stephen (a Porter to a Wine Merchant) and children Mary Ann and Edwin. They also have lodgers William TURLEY & John BURGE.

In 1871 she is living at 2 Millbrook Place, Lyncombe & Widcombe with husband Stephen (a Wine Merchant's Porter) and children John, Mary Ann & Edwin. They also have lodgers William CURTIS, William HETWELL, Edwin JOYCE, Robert JERVIS & Elizabeth EADES.

In 1881 she is an invalid living at 2 Millbrook Place, Lyncombe & Widcombe with husband Stephen (a General Porter) and son John and nephew of husband, William LEARE. They have lodgers Francis & Elizabeth DICKINSON and their children Florence, Eliza and Agnes and also lodger Charlotte DAVEY.

Ann GRAY died Q4 1881 Lyncombe & Widcombe aged about 73 years old. Stephen died the same quarter aged about 76 years old.
