I am researching both of the above as part of the toohey family tree. Albert Neno married mary Foxcroft and left his son AH Neno with Mrs Foxcroft when he went to WW1. It has been said that Mary died giving birth to AH (albert Hugh) but this has not been confirmed. he was a plumer. David Roy and Harry neno - are they his sons from a 2nd marriage?

hi there,
I know someone will come ask you where (in the world) these people were from so will add this here to be of help

24 February 1913
NENO-FOXCROFT - A pretty wedding was solemnised at the Methodist Church on Wednesday afternoon when Mr Albert Neno of Taneatua, and formerly of Wellington, was united in matrimony to Miss Mary Foxcroft, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Foxcroft, of 'Sunnyside', Tauranga.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev M. Ayrton. The bride, who was given away by her father, was charmingly attired in a creme ninon dress, trimmed with cord and silk lace. Miss A. Foxcroft attended her sister as bridesmaid, and wore a pretty striped voile dress. Mr Hugh Foxcroft acted as best man.
After the ceremony a reception was held at "Sunnyside" the residence of the bride's parents, where a number of friends assembled, and honoured the customary toasts.
Mr and Mrs Neno subsequently left for the Coast by the s.s. Ngatiawa, and will make their future home at Taneatua.
The newly wedded pair were the recipients of numerous presents from friends in Tauranga, Taneatua, and various parts of the North Island, testifying to the popularity in which they are held by a large circle of aquaintances
