I have been researching my Davis family tree but i don't know if we are connected as i have found back to William Davis the convict and his wife Mary Geer. All his children and descendants pretty much stayed in Australia so don't know if anything i have would be much good to you.

My Davis family goes back to William Davis according to one tree I have , in 1600. the family came to New Zealand first and then several of the family moved to Melbourne in Australia.
I have a full copy of that tree, and the Christopher Davis in that tree is the one I have been told is my grandfather. I was only 17 at the time and told my boss ( the guy that told me he was talking Bullshit)How I now wish I had listened to him is the one question I keep asking myself. Fred was his name and he even offed to take me to see him before he died but I was very shy and scarred to find out the truth. So now i am looking for a DNA match with some of the male decedents that still live in Auckland NZ
www.davisfamilytree.org tells u a lot more
