looking for a frank reuben nichols from the andirondak area of upstate new york from the early 1900's. Married twice, first wife was ruth (stanton) nichols.
I am looking for George Nichols and wife, Mary, in New York. George died early February 1865. He had a son named James Henry Harrison Nichols that lived in Illinois. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
I am looking for info on Willis W. Nichols (b1849 in PA). He married Victoria Gay (b1860) and they had 2 children that I know of: Silas B. Nichols (b. 1879, NY) and Bertha V. Nichols (b.1883, MI). I know that they lived in Cayuga Co, NY, for a few years, and then moved to Mason, MI, for a time. I was told that Willis Nichols was a Baptist minister and that he was killed by a train. I would love to confirm this somehow. My family also believes that he may have had twin sons born by his first wife. However, I do know that he remarried after Victoria's death sometime before 1899. His second wife was Ida Nichols and they had one son (Louis V. Nichols, b. 1899) listed in the 1900 census in Fulton, Arkansas. His daughter Bertha lived with family in Michigan, and then settled in Cayuga Co, NY, with her husband Emmett Baker.
