Hi my name is lyn, I would like to do my husbands ( jim nimmo) family tree, I only have names, no marriages dates ect. His nimmo family were coal miner and came from Haggs district in Scotland, jim's grand parents were Duncan Livingstone nimmo & Isabella Carmichael Anderson. Duncan's parents were George Nimmo & Jessis Livingstone. Are they connectere to your family. I hope you can help , thanks lyn

I have researched my husband's Russell line back to Linlithgow where a David RUSSELL married a Mary NIMMO. Do you have any information that may help connect Mary to her family or her husband to his? Their son David was born in 1782 in Linlithgow and later her settled in the state of Kentucky in the USA. His mother reportedly settled in Lexington or Louisville. I have no idea if she was widowed and remarried.
