I don't know what either of you know (or don't know) so will add some things here and you can disregard what you don't need ...
Norah Roberts was born on Xmas Day 1880 to John Thomas ROBERTS (1841-1896) & Agnes Jane BLAKE (1852-1920) She appears to have been an only child of this marriage
John died suddenly at his residence Huirangi on 6 Aug 1896 aged 55 (although some sources say 60). You will need to verify all this info Agnes remarried in 1904 to James NICOL (1854-1908). She died 1 Aug 1920 aged 54 The 3 of them are buried at Lepperton Cemetery Board, Taranaki
Nora/Norah Roberts married Robert Kilpatrick (1881-1918) in 1905 They were farmers at Durham Rd., Inglewood Their known children were: 1906 - 1987 Ethel Lilian Kilpatrick 1908 - Marjorie Kilpatrick 1913 - 1988 Gordon Kenneth Kilpatrick 1920 - 1945 Norman Robert Kilpatrick
Robert died 30 May 1918 from injuries sustained when a log fell across his body Nora put the farm up for sale in August that year. She died 23 June 1964 aged 83 and is buried at Inglewood with Robert
I will be at the archives in Inglewood monday so will look and see if they have any imformation. Do you belong to the NZGS? This family has nothing to do with us but the name is same as one of our members at Inglewood
Thank you for all your information and I am sorry that I have been so long in acknowledging it but have been unwell.I am surprised that Nana ( Nora ) appears to have been an only child which is something that none of us knew. I will however keep trying to find out more here as every time I tried to find out info.about this side of the family my Mother (Ethel) would say I didn't need to know. My husband and I hope shortly to visit family graves Inglewood, Lepperton, Bell Block and Waitara.
The archives in Inglewood are open every Monday morning, in the Libary so if you are in the area call in and some one will be able to show you what we have. Cheers Annette
Good to know although it is very difficult for us to get away week days as we own a Boarding Kennel, Cattery and Dog Grooming Business but do hope soon to visit the Family Graves in Waitara, Lepperton and Bell Block.
Try the Inglewood genoglgy group
Thank you, will do.
