Hi, it is great to hear from you.
Dorothy Arabel O'Brien (1904 -1989 was my grandfathers favourite sister. My Grandfather William Joseph moved up to Glen Innes NSW in the late 1920's, but they kept in touch. I still have letters and cards from her to William. I have met Ron,Daphne and Betty and one of Ron's children. I am Dianne.I would love to share your memories of your grandparents and family. Wayne and I hold a lot of information on the O'Brien's, O'Neills and Heffernans.

Hi I am also one of Rons children. I am assuming that you met Phil, the brother on the property. My nan was a fantastic person. I have some fantastic memories of spending heaps of time with her especially when I had had an argument with my mum. Nan and pops place was a wonderful refuge and only just across the paddock. Would it be possible to photocopy the letters and post them to me at Annette Black "Emmaville" Bethungra NSW 2590. I am not there at the moment but am on holiday in QLD but will be home by the end of November. Could possibly be going through Glen Innes on our way home. Certainly going through northern NSW> Do you live up that way at all. Would love to meet you. Hope to keep in touch. I am actually trying to find out if there is any indigenous ancestry in any of the lines of our families. Theres certainly enough convicts. Do you have a date for my nan and pops wedding date. I think it was in 1922 but not sure of the month. Any way thanks for the response and bye for now Annette
