O Grady Grady Family IN New Zealand

The earliest New Zealand O'Grady/Grady relative we have found is Malachy/Malachi O'Grady who was married to Bedelia (Bridget) Hynes in Ireland (Galway)? before they sailed to New Zealand. It is a mystery as to the exact date that they arrived in New Zealand and from where exactly they disembarked from. Some of Bridget's brothers were born in Ireland but left Scotland for NZ in 1861. It looks like it might have been 1862-1864 that they arrived. Any idea's?

I believe they lived in Milton, Otago so they probably disembarked at Dunedin

Thanks - that is correct. Malachy and his brother-in-laws (Hynes & McTegue) bought adjoining land in Milton (Fairfax) in 1869. I shall have a look through all the Dunedin passenger lists again but it is a mystery as alot of people have searched to come up with no information regarding how they came to New Zealand.
