Pell Bigamist Abandons Family

My name is Roger PELL. The following two men were my uncles, twins whom I just learned about and never met.

Their father was my grandfather, Roger Livingston Pell. Their mother was Mary Elizabeth Sabin Pell, m: 1902.

He abandoned the family in 1908, remarried in 1911 and fathered two children, my father and his sister. Nothing of the prior marriage was known to me and my 6 siblings until very recently.

The 1940 Census shows John W. Pell as an Oyster Bay resident. If that was John Winterbourne Pell he is my uncle and had a daughter, Sarah G. Pell, b: circa 1931 and a son, John B. Pell, b: circa 1933. His wife was Pyrma (or bIPynne) E. Pell. Of course, Sarah and John were (are) my first cousins "¦ if John W. is who I presume him to be.

If you know anything that can shed light on the history or whereabouts of the above "lost relatives", please let me know. We will both benefit from the truth.
