Pendergast Ann Born Shropshire C1860

Ann's parents were Michael dob C1833 and Margaret both born in Galway Ireland, migrating to NSW Australia arriving 21/10/1878 on vessel La Hogue as assisted immigrants. Ann married Johan Andreas Diehm 1853-1932 in 1881. Johan changed his name to Andrew Dean. My grandfather, George Dean was born 22/7/1895 at Emu Flat. Johan deserted his family and married Margaret Burns siring ten other children. I have only just discovered this name change as my grandfather would not speak the name of his father.
