my question is how do I locate this boy to reconnect him to a green stone and his baby book I have ended up having accidently in my possession. all information I have to return these to him is his name entered in plunket book, james lane/pere, born 2008 whanganui. I would like to have a way to reunite the treasure to the owner, any surgestions appreciated. I don't have skills with computer so trying my best to sort finding how to achieve this. I feel terrible I picked up a bag when moving a family member and these items were in bag, no one knows whos they are so I need help, can anyone assist please?

Welcome to FTC, a page where we look for ancestors usually but I understand your frustration, so will make a few obvious suggestions.

If the bag was in the room of a friend in Whanganui then someone who was there that day must know her (the mother).

Write your message on a Whanganui Facebook site.

  • This Community page Whanganui Chronicle is very active - recent news added and 18,500 readers.
  • This page is bigger with 24,000 readers Wanganui. Post your message on that page as well, it will disappear to side of page and you will think it didn't post, but the admin will see it and hopefully share to main page.


  • Go through the phone book and ring all Pere in Whanganui until you find someone who knows who has an 11 year old James.
