Pusch IN Prussia OR Germany About 1760 and Earlier

I have been able to trace my Mother's ancestors in the Cooley line back many generations with dozens of lines going back, supposedly, to Adam and Eve.

My father's ancestral line however hits a "brick wall" with Johann Pusch born about 1760 in, I think, Germany.

When I type the surname Pusch into a search bar here I get many hits but those I've looked at so far, here and elsewhere over many years, show no line back from Johann.

Does anyone have any advice that may help me break through this "brick wall"?
