I have researched your request -the results were that in the united states Records their are approximately ( 245 ) entries all with
"George Fletcher -b- 1796 " this includes Kentucky & Ohio . Very difficult to break out . Need more info if you can . I hope this assist you in some way

Well, I know that he was married to Dicey Johnson in 1815, but I have 3 different months and don't know which one is correct. They had one son, Alexander FLETCHER 1816-1876. He had Winston(many variations to this name) Fletcher who married Perlina (once again many variations) Cole in 1861 in Magoffin Co, KY. I read somewhere that George's parents may have been Jacob and Mary FLETCHER. Other than the obvious desire to get my line as far back as I can, I really would like to know where this family originated before coming to the states. Any help is greatly desired.
