Re Grace Rowse Devon England Mousehowse 29 6 2011
Thats damn long time to be searching ( 18yrs ) I wonder if this could assist you . May I make a respectful suggestion .
At the end of each part of my research are the Film Numbers . If you go to one of the LDS family centres ( they use to be free ) make enquiries about the Film number . It use to cost around $ NZ6.00 to get it brought in to their centres . Could be worth a try after all those years - Note--- THeir are two ( 2 ) different Film numbers . I hope this will assist you . come back to me if it doesn't and I will try to go further -Regards

Till we meet again -Regards - edmondsallan
The daughter of John & Elizabeth is certainly one option, though I believe, (but haven't yet proved conclusively,) that she is probably the Grace who married Henry Naish at Exeter St John in November 1770.
I don't mean to be thick, but how exactly would film batch numbers help me?
Thank you for your time........
The LDS family centres - full of computers . they also have usually a couple of machines for scanning films that are held in Salt lake city , Utah , America . You normally have to phone or see the receptionist to make an appointment to use one of the machines . The films have a number which refers to the family you are researching for . usually takes two weeks to get in from America . Monies up front . Use to be about NZ$ 6.00 . the films cover ahuge amount of info . you can turn the operative tools to work the film by hand - pause - fast -slow etc . Going back to the numbers mentioned they would probably ( they use to ) run it thro their office computer to make sure it is the right one , They also have micro fiches . for ancesters around the world . Although, as you have probably read, being told how wrong I am + bad -bad -bad - cause of mistakes + copy and paste etc I use to use the LDS computers, micro fiche system , films machines for years , when I was doing it as a Paying business, for people around the world an in New zealand for about twenty odd years . Now i do it as a hobby . Have go . Just ring up first to get some idea when , how to proceed at your nearest LDS family centre. By the way you are not thick . I hope you can crack it wide open - regards from the - Copy and paste man -hahaha !
Thanks.
The thing is, I examined the LDS fiche available at public libraries, AND of the original registers at the Devon Record Office, so I am not clear what else the films might have that I have missed??
