Certainly is a difficult one to put together . Like you , I found many bits and pieces . I make no excuses for it being not connected .
I find their are " kimps in america " and took one as an example only
to show you -
The " kimps" in England I think may have changed their name to
" kemps " ( I am not to sure about that , unable to prove)
I found the " Kimps " nearly all in Belgium . I researched several and nearly all go back to a " Pierre Kimps " - b- 1875. I have given you one ancestry tree as an example - I have not as yet been able to Find any connection to England & then to the states or vice versa I hope that some of this may assist you . It is very disjointed - I will keep trying to break it out and if i do I will contact you
