Reams Reamms Rames Ireland to Quebec

I am researching the surname Reams/Reamms/Rames .... which I believe origingate in Ireland and came to Quebec in the early 1800s...the primary couple were Guillaume(William)Reamms and Mary Maloney who lived in Quebec City.....their son Robert married Barbara Miller and they relocated to Valcartier a small predominantly Irish village just northwest of Quebec City.....they had three children Marie,Jane and Robert Henry.....after the death of Robert the family moved to Montreal and Barbara remarried to James McGee.......Robert Henry married Annie Higgins in Montreal and they had 5 children ....he died in 1891 and Annie later came to the USA....she died in 1905....I have all the data on the family up to this point.....what I need to know is the origin of this original couple....any help is appreciated...as is always with genealogy.........Mary
