I have my Burchfield relatives back to Robert Burchfiel. I am Beverly Kaye Burchfield, this is my maiden name. My dad was John Sterling Lee Burchfield. His dad was Charles Clarence Burchfield(1899-1963). Next was John William Burchfiel,(1876-1942) George Burchfiel(1854-1937)). John Wesley Burchfiel(1831-1901),Robert Burchfiel(1809-1831) Joseph Burchfiel(1785-1805)Robert Burchfiel(1760). These people did not add the "d" to their last name.
