Interesting to see a BOOKER and find it is a surname of England. My Booker (Jane) was in
Knoxville, Tennessee (USA), and that line is rumored (w/photos & some type documentation that support this) to have had Native American Indian blood within that line.

My Jane's maiden name was Booker, and she was 1st married to Abel HANKINS, Jr. They had a son (from whom i descend) named Thomas West Hankins. After Jane's 1st husband Abel passed-away, she then married 2nd, a Mr.Askew.

Am curious, can you tell me how far back your Booker line has been traced, and/or if you know in what region that Booker surname originated in England?

Any info at all or even a reply is greatly appreciated...thanks so much-Diane Spencer

Hi Diane

My Booker line (my mother's side of the family)has been traced back to 1500s by a first cousin of mine. I have all this info on my family tree but it's in my laptop, which is in for repair. Please remind me in about a month's time and I'll let you know.

My pleasure
Cherry
