I am researching my mother's family name Cockram. They came from Devon to Wales to work. My great grandfather Lewis Cockram was killed in the Parc Slip coal mine Explosion together with 3 of his brothers in August 1892. They lived in the Bridgend area of Glamorgan. Lewis Cockram's father was called George and his mother Elizabeth.
Although a branch of the family I am researching did move to Wales to take up mining jobs I don't think there is any connection with your family.
