Hi Paul,
I am a decedent of a William Giddins - although, I am only guessing if he linked to *the* William Giddins you refer to. I certainly hope so - this side of the family is a bit of a mystery as the last of the links that I had contact with have passed away.
My great-grandfather's name was Raymond Giddins, born in 1902. The youngest of 16 children! Importantly, he was the son of William Giddins from Richmond, NSW.
Now, if I had to guess (which I do) I would say this William (my great-grandfather's father) could be the son of "William of Northhamptonshire."

Hi Paul,
To my understanding, the fourth child of William Giddins and Harriett Barwick is Dinah Giddins, whom is my great-great-grandmother. Her third child, Oliver Giddins, is my great-grandfather.
