He married Mary Unknown and together they had one child Jane Donahue born in Tyronem Ireland 1939 died 1884 in Frostburg, Maryland. His daughter Jane Donahue married Francis Cosgrove born in Ireland and settled in Maryland, Allegany Co., Frostburg District, Clarysville.
