Researching Samuel S Smith Husband of Angeline M Brothers and Father of George Depew Smith

George DePew Smith was my Great Grandfather He was the son of Samiuel S. Smith and Angeline M. Brothers. His parents ran a canal boat on the Erie Canal. I have much info on this family but need to find Samuel S. Smith. I know he was from Connecticut and born in 1814.
