I am a direct descendant of Thomas Weekes the immigrant of 1635. Hotten lists him aboard the ship Expedition. What do you have on this fellow's ancestry?
This is a bit of a coincidence as you've been helping me with the Claw family research, but I have lately discovered that I am related to the Weekes family of Bexley, Kent, Uk. My g's grandmother was Barbary Weekes who married Dutton Roberts. Their son John, was the father of Louisa who married William Claw.
I don't have very much information but you're welcome to anything I have.
you mention sussex, my very big family dunstalls came from there, may be looking in their family trees might , give a clue, as they are very well known over there, theyhave a folly,a church ,streets and parks so you can see they should be well known. other than this. I cannot think of any other, avenues hope this helps
