Researching Tomalin Family Principally IN UK

I have a fair amount of information on the Tomalins from the north of England from present back to 1625. There are Tomalin references back in the 1300's and further back into Welsh history...but I cannot connect these references.Any help, guidance etc gratefully received.
We have three generations now living in Australia-....spread between Tasmania, ACT and north Queensland. Enquiries welcome. Thanks Bill Tomalin
