Revolutionary War Patriot Col Charles Fleming
I am researching Col. Charles FLEMING, proven Revolutionary War Patriot. Especially looking for records of his children and wife. I am new to the FLEMING research group. My line would be through a daughter Nancy FLEMING who married James DOVE in 1772, Lancaster Co. VA. Any help would be appreciated.
I just indexed a Revolutionary War Roster dated Oct, 1778 with Chas Fleming's name on it. He was listed as a member of the 8th Virginia Regiment under Colonel James Woods. I could not determine his rank at the time. Whenever the indexing process is complete, the document will be available online. Sorry that it does not have any family listed.
