Hi, Mary Ann Roberts is my GGGGG Grandmother, I am also descendant from their daughter Louisa who married James Smith, Next in my lineage comes their son James (I have a photo of him) who married Martha scullion, their daughter Ellen Martha Matilda (I have photos of her) who married George Bradford who married Stella Marie Hutchinson, Their daughter Esme Marie was my grandmother. Not sure if you know, But Lewisa Smith nee lewis committed suicide on the 14th of June 1851 and according to an article in the Bathurst free press and mining journal dated 25 June 1851 page 3 the inquest was held on the 15th of June 1851. It's quite sad, and it was my GGG Grandfather james who found her body in the river, he would have been about 17 years old at the time. http://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/page/6171983?searchTerm=%22smith%22&searchLimits=exactPhrase=smith|||l-category=Family+Notices|||dateTo|||notWords|||anyWords|||dateFrom=1851-6-24|||requestHandler|||sortby=dateAsc

steveprior, have you checked the death and marriage certificates for your Elizabeth Cook? It seems you are not even related to mary roberts or her daughter Elizabeth Lewis.
