Xerox coy of grant and confirmation by Thomas Nanfan to John Nichol of Bodmin, son of Richard Nichol of Lostwithiel of messuages lands and tenements in Redalan [Redalan in Breage], Pengelly [in St Wenn], St Wenn, Holwyn [Halwyn in St Issey], Penpons [? Penpont in Mawgan in Pydar], Med(ela), [Methleigh in Breage], Spargormur [? Sparnon in Breage] with the fealty, rents and services of John Hechenans, Richard Sparnon, John Mychel and Honor his wife, William Hervy for the lands and tenements they held in Hethenans [? Huthnance in Breage], and Pengelly [in St Wenn] with homage and reliefs and all escheats arising. He also granted to John Nichol all his tinworks in the moors of Crukbargoys [+? Burgois in St Issey + Cruc = heap, mound, hill], Pencode and Repery [=Reperry in Lanivet] with three water leats. To John Nichol, his heirs and assigns for ever. Sealed by donor. Witnesses by John Broton, then mayor of Bodmin, John Moyle, Roger Caleway, Martin Pellour, Everinus Boneychon. Bodmin, Sunday, 27 January 1397.
