Right at the Start of a Search for Avison My Surname

The Avisons I'm after are UK Bradford-based, specifically Hightown, near Cleckheaton, though there is no guarantee Joseph Avison, my grandfather, was born there. One of Joseph's sons was George Binns; Binns was the maiden name of Joseph's wife. George Binns Avison (b. 1912) was my father. He died in 1997. I obviously have a bit more information.
